VALENTINE´S WEEKEND AT THE CASTLE

12th February – 13th February 2022

Romantic walks through the castle dedicated to lovers who want to remind their love on the occasion of St. Valentine's Day.

As part of this year's Valentine's Day, the museum has drawn attention to ancient stories and legends. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with them during individual tours of the castle through stylized tables with texts approaching individual destinies. The atmosphere is traditionally complemented by a romantic decoration. The new item of the season will be music that has been composed especially for this occasion.

An integral part of Valentine's Weekend at Bojnice Castle are also the Certificates of Loyalty, by which the castle estate confirms the love of couples in love. They are also ready for this year. Couples will be able to get them at one of the stops of the Valentine's Weekend tours - in the magnificent Castle Chapel.

On Valentine's Weekend held on 12th and 13th February 2022, the museum will be open from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. The tours will take place individually and without guide.

EASTER´S WALK THROUGH THE CASTLE

Thematic tours of the Easter-decorated premises of Bojnice Castle on the occasion of celebrating the spring holidays.

 

 

THE FAIRYTALE CASTLE

15th June – 19th June 2022 and 22nd June – 26th June 2022

The Fairytale Castle event combines high-quality literary scenarios with the authentic environment of the romantic Bojnice Castle in a unique way.

The Fairytale Castle is a special fairytale theater festival in the form of a staged performance. It is clearly one of the most successful and most visited cultural events in Slovakia.

 

 

JACK O´LANTERN AT BOJNICE CASTLE

28th October - 29th October 2022

An unconventional tour of the evening castle with autumn decorations and glowing pumpkins.

Jack O´Lantern - a mythical, fairy-tale creature guiding people behind their light. The tradition of the jack o´lantern follows the ancient Celts, who believed that on the last day of October, the souls of the dead returned to earth. As protection against these spirits, they used light, which they later transferred to the carved pumpkins. For them, this light meant the security of all the living before the dead.

 

 

 

CHRISTMAS AT BOJNICE CASTLE

15th December 2022 – 8th January 2023

A tour of the festively decorated Bojnice Castle with Christmas trees, decorations and demonstrations of festive dining in the past.
